Isavella Kasimati (b.1995, Athens) is an actress, writer and theatre maker. She works in theatre and film and is currently doing her master's degree in Directing of Devised & Object Theatre at the Academy of Performing arts in Prague (DAMU). She has studied Psychology in Athens and Warsaw, and she was an artist in residence in the Dramaturgy program of 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture.

In October 2023, she co-directed and performed in Odyssey, an acting duet that won the 1st Award for Best Performance in Ithaca Theatre Festival. Her docu-fiction short film Pyjama party (2023) was a finalist in the 1st Cinematek Film Competition and her podcasts Concerto for Two Trumpets (2022) and Portraits of Objects (2021) premiered in the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival.

Isavella's research focuses on the genre of auto-fiction. Through experimenting with the boundaries between biography and imagination, she explores ways of constructing personal narratives under the guise of fiction, as a way to empower and reinvent ourselves on our own terms.
